Course Description

Leadership in meetings requires a rare combination of attitude, personal qualities and proper use of principals and techniques. In this course you will learn to reach your objectives as the meeting leader or facilitator. Numerous surveys have shown that more than 80% of all meetings waste time, suggestions are given to make meetings more productive, wasting less time.

Meetings have a bad reputation as being ineffective and a waste of time. They don’t have to be! This workshop is designed to help you improve the quality of meetings you attend, either as a leader or as a participant. Learn how to spot meeting problems in advance and accomplish your objectives in the shortest amount of time. Also learn how to manage side conversations, conflict, and challenging participants.

This program is highly interactive and is comprised for extensive simulations and practice. Each participant has the opportunity (in group or individual depending on class size) to manage a mock meeting in class and receive valuable feedback.
